The past few years I have noticed that the month of September has been exceptionally beautiful in the part of the world that I live in. Low humidity, clear skies, bright sunshine....What more could there be? I decided a few years back, that I would record a Cd and call it "Serenade in September" in recognition and thanksgiving for this beautiful time of year. Near summer's end, moving toward autumn...the cool days and bright sunshine which bathes the world in a heavenly glow - knowing the fall colors are on their way...It is a special time...And a special time to be alive.

Track 1 - A Momentary Reflection
Track 2 - A Montana Mood - Inspired by a conversation I had with my youngest daughter, Rachelle. She is living in Montana for the year. Several months back, she told me she was feeling a bit down, so I turned to the harp and wrote her this song. Probably my favorite title on this Cd.
Track 3 - Brave Girls - I have always had the good fortune to be surrounded by women who I consider to be far braver than I am. Both of my girls have traveled the world and no harm has come to them. And my wife will show a brave face to the world, even if she is in discomfort.
Track 4 - Feelin' It -
Track 5 - Missing You - Inspired by thoughts of my late mother, also named Rachelle.
Track 6 - Quiet as the Moon - I like this song!
Track 7 -Robin's Egg Blue - An upbeat song to reflect the pretty blue skies we have here often.
Track 8 - The Thirteenth of September - Dedicated to my niece, Teresa who is a new mother and was born on this day. This Cd is dedicated to her.

A special thanks to my friend Patricia Shaw who provided the cover art for this Cd entitled "goodbye summer."
